Buffalo

How it plays

1,024-ways game with stacked buffalo and free spins carrying 2x and 3x wild multipliers.

Covers the original and versions not ranked separately, such as Buffalo Grand. Buffalo Gold, Buffalo Link and Buffalo Chief have their own entries.

Volatility and payback

Makers do not publish volatility for casino floor machines, so High is our estimate, based on how the game is built. In plain terms: long dry spells, big bonus potential. It is one of 49 high volatility slots in the Top 100. What high volatility means.

There is no single RTP for this machine, because each casino chooses its own payback setting. Top prize: No progressive on the original; fixed pays, with free-game wild multipliers of 2x and 3x.

How popular it is

Its 20 most-watched YouTube videos from the past 12 months that name it in the title drew 3.2M views between them. Among casino floor machines it ranks number 6 of the 72 we track. Of the 28 Aristocrat slots in our pool, it is number 5. One place ahead of it is Spooky Link and one place behind is Zeus vs Hades: Gods of War.

The buzz score measures how much people watch a slot being played. It says nothing about how well it pays. How we rank.

At sea

Buffalo has our At sea badge. We found 9 cruise ship videos of it, with 164K views, which makes it number 16 of 43 on our cruise ship list.
